Looking For Replacement Leaf Springs For 2011 XLR Toy hauler 300L10

Updated 09/02/2025 | Published 08/13/2025

Question:

4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 4,000-lb Trailer Axles - 26 Long I am looking to purchase replacement leaf springs for my 2011 XLR toy hauler 300L10 Would 2 of these be sufficient ? I noticed one broken leaf so I was going to change the 2 on the front axle. Should I change all 4? The trailer has had lots of use in its life time so far.

Hello Taylor, thanks for reaching out. The 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 4,000-lb Trailer Axles # e22YR may work for you, but there is no way for me to look up your trailer to know exactly what leaf springs it was built with. RV manufacturers just are not that specific with their online literature.

Basically to recommend the correct spring I will need to know the weight capacity of your axle, as well as the eye-to-eye length of the current springs. There should be a tag or sticker on your axle that shows the weight capacity. Then you can jack up one side of the trailer so you can measure the springs when not under a load.

For example, the # e22YR spring is 26" long and is for a 4,000 lb axle.

Get me that info and I am happy to look into it and recommend a spring. It is recommended to replace all four springs at once. That way all four springs are equal and wear evenly.

Hey Taylor, did you manage to find the weight capacity and eye-to-eye length of your current springs? I'm here to help you find the right replacement and ensure your trailer's springs wear evenly.
