Replacement Shackle Links For Boat Trailer

Question:

Greetings, I am looking for shackle links or a one pice shackle for my boat trailer. I have 1-3/4inch wide double eye springs with 3-1/8inch center to center shackle links. I need to get tires a little further away from fender brackets. Im wanting to find a shackle that has a 4inch to 4-1/2inch center to center distance. Any suggestions? Thank you

The longest shackle straps we offer are part # TRSL350, and those measure 3-1/2 inches hole center to hole center.

For more clearance you may want to install longer hangers. Although these may be a lot more work because you would have to remove the old hangers and then weld new hangers in place, they may give you the length you need to move the wheels away from the fenders. I have attached a link to out product page of the hangers we offer. You can use the menu at the left of the page to filter the hangers we have available by length.

You might also want to see if there is a way to move the fenders higher on the trailer by relocating the brackets.
