If you already have the Yakima BaseLine FX Crossbars for Naked Roofs - 48-3/4" and 52-3/4" Long - Qty 2 # Y36UV, you will want the following fit kit pieces to get it attached to the naked roof on your Acura MDX:

BaseClip Fit Kit for Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack Towers - Qty 2 # Y06105
BaseClip Fit Kit for Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack Towers - Qty 2 # Y06150

If you do not have the crossbars though, we actually have this as a full kit with the Yakima BaseLine FX Roof Rack for Naked Roofs - JetStream Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - Qty 2 # Y34FD. This includes both BaseLine crossbars as well as both BaseClips for the fit kit.

Hi Darcy, Did you decide to go with the full Yakima BaseLine FX Roof Rack kit for your Acura MDX, or did you just get the fit kit pieces? I'm curious to know how it worked out for you, as it could help others make a decision on the best setup for their needs.

@LazerS I am still deciding. I am also wondering how hard is it to put on and take off after my trip?

@Darcy It will be easier and quicker than the install as you don't have to make sure they are being put in the correct spots. I included an install video for you to check out and if you jump to the 4:46 mark, you can see what it will involve. It isn't very difficult to do.
