How Does Module of Curt True Course Mount to Trailer Frame
Updated 09/02/2025 | Published 08/09/2025 >
Question:
How close to or far from the hitch should the True Course be installed? I imagine the further away from the hitch the True Course is installed on the A frame, the faster the system will be activated?

Hey Fred, it really doesn't matter in that regard but you do have to make sure the module of the Curt TruCourse part # C94VV is level with the top of the frame. See the attached picture. But you basically need to mount it close enough to the front of the trailer that the 7-way harness would have enough length to make it to your vehicle.
