What is the Replacement Bearing for a Malone MicroSportXT MPG460XT

Question:

Hello, I bought a used Malone’s kayak trailer model number MPG460XT. I wanted to have an extra bearing on hand. Can you recommend what type of bearing I’d need? Thanks.

Thanks for your question, Becky!

After some searching around, it looks like Malone show that there are two possible sizes. Your trailer could have a 1" straight spindle, which would use bearing # L44643. The other possible size is a 1.063" straight spindle, the bearing for that is # L44649. Sorry I don't have a way to know which one you may need. If you are able to get one of the hubs off and check the spindle diameter, you will know for sure.

The trailer is new to me but is 12 years old. So it was purchased in 2013.

@BeckyL The 1" spindle is the most common one out there today for small trailers but it is still possible that you could have the other one. I tried looking into other sources to see if there was a good way to see what size you had but came up empty handed. I wish I had a better and more solid answer for you, Becky.
