Hi Eleanor!

As long as your 2013 Honda CR-V has a 2" hitch receiver, like the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75742, you will have no issues using the 24x48-3/4 Carpod Walled, Folding Cargo Carrier - 2" Hitches - w/ Lid, Bag, Rise Shank - 450 lbs # M2205-01-02.

I couldn't find the tongue weight capacity of a 2013 CR-V though, so you will want to contact a Honda dealer to double check that. I think it's 350 pounds, but that's coming from the hitch manufacturers and I couldn't find that actually confirmed by Honda. Just keep in mind you are limited by the lowest rated component, which will most likely be your CR-V.

What are you planning on carrying in the Carpod carrier?

Hey Eleanor, Did you get a chance to check with a Honda dealer about the tongue weight capacity for your CR-V? I'm curious to know if the Carpod carrier worked out for your needs. Your experience could really help others with similar setups.
