Troubleshooting HappiJac Electric Truck Camper Jacks

Updated 09/02/2025 | Published 08/09/2025

Question:

We have a northstar slide on camper with happijac legs. The remote will operate 3 of the legs but not the back rear one. No changes have been made to the setup and previously, all 4 legs could be operated using the remote. Any assistance would be appreciated. Cheers and thanks Lynne

Thanks for reaching out Lynne!

That sounds frustrating, so lets see if we can get your jack back up and running. A few things to check would be to make sure that you are getting power to the jack leg that is not working with the remote. You can use a basic tester, like part # PT72PJ, to make sure that you are getting power to the jack. If you are, please check out the troubleshooting table in the picture below. If you have tried everything then it's possible you may need a new circuit board, part number # LC733513. Hopefully that is not the case and it's a simple fix.

Let me know how everything goes!
