Which B and W Companion Hitch for 2025 Jayco 317RLOK

Question:

Looking at 2025 Jayco 317RLOK 5th wheel to be used with 2025 GMC Sierra 3500 standard bed. Will the BWRVK3710 work or would a slider be needed? Thanks!

Hey Jeff, this is a great question but I looked up pictures of your 2025 Jayco 317RLOK and since it has a tapered nose and an extended pin box you wouldn't need a slider hitch for turning clearance and would be good to use the fixed hitch version of the Companion part # BWRVK3710 that fits your OEM pucks. Have you used a slider hitch before and not cared for it?

Jameson, thank you for the feedback. This would be our 1st 5th wheel, so have not used either fixed or slider.

@JeffD If you can get away with not using a slider hitch it's the way to go. They are quite a bit heavier and since they have more moving parts they can make more noise. I think you'll really like the Companion!
