Looking For Replacement Gear For Kwikee Step On 2016 Winnebago View 24G

Question:

2016 winnebago view 24g. Steps jump at the end on full extension. My dogs fault. Teeth broken. Need to know which gear plate for replacement. Owners manual says Kwikee but cant find the series. 2 step model.

Hello Jerald, thanks for reaching out. The Replacement Gear for Lippert Single and Double Electric Coach Step # LC301696 is likely what you need. It works for virtually all of the Lippert/Kwikee RV steps and will work with the single or double steps. There should be a sticker on the underside of your step with a part number. If you can provide that I should be able to confirm the correct gear. Honestly though, as long as your gear is similar in appearance to the # LC301696, you can be sure it will work for you.

This is not the right gear for my step. My gear is mounted perpendicular and larger teeth. My technician is trying to hunt one down thru Lippert but no luck. Maybe only option is to replace whole step unit but that's pricey $$$
