I store my camper in a shared lot. Will this help prevent someone from walking off with my bars?

It adds some peace of mind, yes. The open cradle design of the MORryde EzStor - Bolt-On Storage Bracket for Weight Distribution Hitches # MR62ZV doesn’t lock the bars, but it does make them a lot harder to casually remove since you have to lift them out vertically. For added security, consider a small cable lock looped through the handle slots, or a pin lock like etrailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" and 2-1/2" Hitches # e98881.

This way your expensive WDH won't be sitting there for anyone to grab.

Thanks Andrew. How secure is this bracket when you’re actually towing? I’m thinking about mounting it to the trailer tongue, but I don’t want anything rattling around while we’re rolling.

@Jake Good question. The bracket holds to the frame very snug, and won't rattle at all. Just remember you won't be leaving the wdh in the bracket when towing. Let me know how you’re thinking of setting it up and I can help with specific mounting ideas, especially if your trailer has a propane rack, toolbox, or tight clearance up front.
