Question:
How weatherproof is this panel? Can I leave it out in the rain?

Andre, the solar panel 100w kit # E28VV itself is weather-resistant and will handle rain, morning dew, and general outdoor use just fine. The charge controller, however, is not fully waterproof. It’s semi-sheltered when mounted under the panel, but we recommend protecting it or bringing the panel inside during rain.
If you’re leaving it out long-term, the recommendation is to mount the controller inside your trailer near the battery. This is how permanent solar kits are supposed to be installed.
I'd go this route so then when you aren't using solar, you can simply unplug the solar panel and store it in the included bag, and the controller is safe and secured inside even when not in use.

Hey, did you decide to mount the charge controller inside your trailer to keep it safe from the rain? I'm curious because it could really help others looking to set up their solar panels securely.
