Weight Distribution Hitch for Gulfstream Vista Cruiser 23QBS

Question:
I am looking for a Reese or Curt weight distribution hitch for my Gulfstream Vista Cruiser 23QBS. It has a tongue weight of 440 lbs, a dry weight of 4038 lbs and GVWR 6040 lbs. I have a Chevy Silverado 1500 crew cab. Would a Reese RE94FR work? Or is there something else that would be better? Thank you, Patrick

Hey Patrick! There is always something better but that tends to come with a higher cost. Between the Curt and Reese I would stick with the Reese # RE94FR. It looks like the 440 lb hitch weight is the dry hitch weight on your Gulfstream Vista Cruiser 23QBS. Once you add in batteries, propane, and whatever else you load in the trailer that will put you in the middle of the 400 lbs - 800 lb tongue weight range of the system which is ideal.
Any big trips planned with your trailer this summer?
