Question:
What width of bar can this lock accommodate? We are repurposing a 1994 W-W horse trailer to carry e-bikes and need to lock the back swing doors. Our cam swing bar is 1 1/2” wide which is wider than some of the newer trailer bars. Any guidance appreciated. TKS!

Hey Marlin, thanks for the picture. The Global Link Vise Lock for Cam-Action Door Latch item # 295-000024 fits a standard 1-1/4" wide latch handle. It is not adjustable. I do not have one that fits a larger 1-1/2" wide handle.
I recommend replacing your handles with the Replacement Handle Assembly for Polar Cam-Action Latch Kits item # 158-100. It measures 14" long x 1-1/4" wide and is sold individually.
What made you convert a horse trailer to haul e-bikes?

Thanks for the info and suggestions. Regarding the trailer, we carry a slide-in truck camper, there is no room for our e-bikes or other camping gear on camper or truck. The horse trailer is a 10’ straight load trailer, two axles, brakes both axles and puts very little extra weight on the truck bumper. It was getting a lot of surface rust, decided to repaint, recondition and repurpose it. Works perfect for our use!
