Question:

Is the only difference between the titan chain with s hook and the titan chain with s hook with clasp the s hooks ? The clasp style costs @$11.00 more just for the clasp …… is that correct ? Thanks, TCTSCG30-730-03 s hook TCTSCG30-730-04 s hook with clasp

Hello Gary,

Yes, you are correct. The only difference I see between the 30" Long Safety Chain with 1/4" Links and 7/16" S-Hook with Latch - 5,000 lbs - Qty 1 # TCTSCG30-730-04x1 and # TCTSCG30-730-04x1 is the clasp (AKA Latch) on the S hook. Sometimes I do not try to make sense on why things are priced the way they are, Titan chain must be really proud of that clasp because this is one of those times.
