Hey Jeff. The CE Smith Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assemblies item # CE10000G-4 are going to need a 3-1/16" wide on the inside u-bolt that has threads that go down to at least 1-1/2" from the inside of the bolt. The 3-13/16" Long x 3-1/16" Wide CE Smith U-Bolts item # CE15283GA-4, you were looking at aren't going to work with a 1-1/2" wide frame member. The threads don't go down far enough. You'll need to source those u-bolts elsewhere as we do not have any that will work.
The 1-1/4" long Stainless Steel Hex Lag Screw item # FA74521 would work great with a 2x4 or 2x6. They're 3/8" wide like the mounting holes in item # CE10000G-4. You'll need two per mounting bracket.
