Recommended Replacement AC For 15K Dometic BriskAir II Unit, PN541816A711C0

Question:

I am replacing a Dometic 541816A711C0 15k unit. It is fully ducted and top down mounted no access from inside This is a multi zone setup. CCC thermostat. What is the replacement model you have? It does not need to be low profile. Will it come with the proper control board for multi zone CCC dometic thermostat and ability to mount from up top?

The part number you list is for a Dometic BriskAir II. My recommendation is the 15,000 Btu Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Dometic Setup w/ Start Capacitor, # ACDOM150B. This is designed for replacing a currently installed Dometic AC unit as it plugs directly into your Dometic setup and works seamlessly with your existing, in-good-working-order Dometic air distribution box and thermostat. This is a bolt-on installation that includes needed wiring harness and mounting hardware for the setup you described.

@John The recommended replacement for the answer above is no longer available and we've found recently isn't plug and play compatible. Instead you'll need the Dometic Penguin II High Capacity RV Air Conditioner item # DMC53ZR. It does not have an optional heat strip.
