Hey William! It sounds like you don't have any kind of factory wiring on your 2016 Ford Transit T150. Assuming that is correct, you need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56327. This will add a 4-way to your vehicle. If you want to add a 7-way you can upgrade it using the # ETBC7.
If you have the factory tow package with the factory wiring connector behind the rear bumper the Curt Dual Connection Socket w/ Bracket # C36GJ will add a 4-way and a 7-way. This plugs into the USCAR connector at the rear. The factory wiring harness/connector will fit the round connection pictured below if you have it.
