there forwarded videos about brake control installation on my series 1998 Explorer. I cant find them any more. Can you explain or send me a link?

Hey Charles, welcome back! I do have a video on a 1996 Ford Explorer that I have attached below. It's the same generation as your 1998 Explorer so the installation process will be the same. This will show you how to get the item # ETBC7 and the universal wiring harness on the Tekonsha item # TK29ER you purchased installed. All the Tekonsha brake controllers use the same universal harness so don't worry about the Prodigy P3 being set up at the end.
Please note you will need a circuit tester like item # PTW2993 to find the cold wire on the brake light switch. This will be the wire that only has power when you press your brake pedal.
