Hello Scott,
We will definitely have some leaf springs that will work for you, but I do not have a database that supplies me with what is put on what camper (would be pretty sweet if such a list existed), so you will need to double check my research.
I am showing that you should have a tandem axle set-up with each axle rated at 3,500 pounds. You will need to measure the leaf spring with unloaded weight, it is usually best to jack the camper up to get the weight off completely. Your measurement is most likely going to be a little longer than you need because they do flatten out of time. So don't go over, go to the one that is closest under.
Here are the options:
- 23 1/8" 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles # DX55CR
- 25 1/8" 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles # e54SR
- 25 1/4" 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles # DX23CR
- 27" 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles # e97SR
Since you are changing out your leaf springs you will also need to get new U-bolts, they stretch overtime so you should not re-use them. You will want 2 (1 per axle) of the CE Smith U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 3,500-lb, Round Trailer Axles - 5-1/2" Long U-Bolts - Zinc # CE23002.
If you check the tag on your axle and it is rated for something other than 3,500 please let me know. If you measure the leaf spring and are unuse on which one to choose, all you have to do is hit the "Reply to Kate F".
Are you getting things geared up for the next big adventure? Where are you headed? Or better yet, what has been your greatest adventure yet?
