Will this interfere with my 2022 F-150’s factory collision or stability systems?

Good afternoon Brian, and no, not at all. The Redarc Tow-Pro Link # RED57AR operates completely independently of your vehicle’s CAN bus and stability control systems. It pulls its signal from the brake circuit, not the onboard electronics. You’ll get seamless operation with zero warning lights or false sensor readings.

Let us know if you’re using any other aftermarket sensors or if you’re combining this with a weight distribution hitch, and I'll confirm full compatibility.

I’m new to towing and just picked up the Redarc Tow-Pro Link based on a friend’s recommendation. I’m also considering a new trailer that has the Dexter Tow Assist sway control system. Do you know if that works alongside the Redarc or if they conflict in any way?

@JasonM Great question, Jason, and welcome to the world of towing; sounds like you're off to a smart start. The Dexter Tow Assist is fully compatible with the Redarc Tow-Pro Link. They don’t interfere with each other because they serve slightly different purposes. The Tow-Pro Link handles proportional braking based on how hard you press your truck’s brake pedal, giving you smooth and even braking during normal driving and stopping. The Dexter Tow Assist acts more like a safety layer, kicking in automatically when it detects trailer sway. It sends a braking signal to all trailer brakes to bring things back in line. It works independently and doesn't need any special integration with your controller. Redarc also confirms on their site that it is compatible with this specific Dexter system. :)
