Can Furrion Chill Cube Thermostat Be Installed Using Dometic Thermostat Wiring

I have a dometic air conditioner, and I want to change over to the furrion 18000 btu chill cube ducted can I use the wiring from the dometic Thermostat to connect the furrion thermostat and if so, is that going to affect the remote control for the air conditioner Thank you

Hi Juan; you will be able to use that existing wall thermostat wiring to hook up the Furrion Chill Cube wall thermostat. Do you have a furnace? The only reason you really need the wall thermostat is to operate a furnace.
The remote operates independently so one way or another it won't impact the remote functionality. If you don't have a furnace you only need the remote. If your Dometic thermostat can run the furnace on its own you can skip the Furrion wall thermostat unless you want everything to be tied together. You will need a complete system so you can choose from the following based on ducted/ductless and color:
-Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ductless - 18,000 Btu - Black # FR27TD
-Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ductless - 18,000 Btu - White # FR59TD
-Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ducted - 18,000 Btu - Black # FR39TD
-Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ducted - 18,000 Btu - White # FR99TD
-Furrion Chill Cube RV AC w/ Air Distribution Box, Thermostat - Ducted # FR69TD (if you have a furnace)
-Furrion Chill Cube RV AC w/ Air Distribution Box, Thermostat - Ducted # FR49TD (if you have a furnace)
