Can Channels of Thule Tracks be At Slight Angle and Still have Feet Attach
Updated 06/24/2025 | Published 06/19/2025 >
Question:
Hello Team! I am purchasing Thule THTB60 tracks to accommodate my TK1 Tracker 2 kit, 430R foot pack, and RB60 crossbars. They will be mounted to a Snugtop camper shell. Regarding placement of the tracks, I am tempted to go wide as possible for two reasons.... 1 My crossbars are wide and I dont want to have to modify the mounting slot 2 Im guessing the outside edges of the shell would be the strongest mounting location. So, my concern is that the shell has a slight curve to it, so the wider the stance, the rails will have a slight outward angle to them. Would this be a problem, or is there some wiggle-room built into the foot packs? Thanks in advance for sharing your expertise.

Hey Tim, this is a great question but yes there is some wiggle room with the hardware that fits into the tracks so there wouldn't be issues with the curvature that you mentioned.
