2025 Ford Bronco Flat Tow and Trailer Wiring Kit Recommendations

Updated 09/09/2025 | Published 06/12/2025

Question:

I have a bronco that I want to tow behind my RV and I also want to be able to tow with it. I can purchase a towed vehicle light connection and a trailer hitch wire connection. How do I hook them both up? Lights to towed, towed to trailer trailer to vehicle? Or lights to trailer trailer to towed towed to vehicle? Or is there a splitter I can buy?

Hey Andrew, thanks for reaching out!

The flat tow wiring will need to be spliced in on the vehicle side of your 2025 Ford Bronco wiring, and then I recommend picking up one of the Tekonsha trailer harnesses that then tees in between the vehicle and tail light wiring connections. The correct parts depend on what type of tail lights your Bronco is equipped with:

With LEDs
- Roadmaster Kit # RM38FR
- Tekonsha T-One # TK99VR

Without LEDs
- Roadmaster Kit # RM-15267
- Tekonsha T-One # TK33VR

Do you already have the other parts needed to flat tow your Bronco?

Hey Andrew, did you get a chance to set up the wiring for your Bronco? I'm curious if the Tekonsha trailer harness and Roadmaster kit worked out for you, as it could help others looking to tow their vehicles.

@JonG I needed up adding the trailer tow package to my Bronco build so it come from the factory with the tow package. Also will be buying a trailer instead of flat towing so no need for the towed lights. Thanks for the info though.
