What Is The Best Way For Me To Raise My Trailer 1-1.5"?

Updated 09/08/2025 | Published 06/12/2025

Question:

I have a 20 foot IronBull driveover fender car trailer. 6lug 10k. How can I lift the trailer 1 to 1.5 inchs to clear my tires better. Currently, my tires just barley touch the fenders when I load a jeep on the trailer. I just need to gain a inch more of height so tire wont hit the fenders when loaded. What do you suggest? Thank you

Hey Alan,

The easiest way to give your trailer an extra inch or 2 would be to go with the Correct Track kit # RR23QX. This is a simple bolt on installation kit that works hand in hand with your leaf springs suspension. It is going to give you an 1-1/4"-2-1/4" of life on your trailer to get it up off of those tires. Other things like over under kits are going to raise the trailer much higher so this kit is the best way to get just enough for it to ride better.

What are you hauling around on that trailer mainly?

Hey Alan, Did the Correct Track kit work out for lifting your trailer just enough to clear the tires? I'm curious to know if it helped with your setup, as it could give others confidence when ordering replacements.
