Question:
I wanted to make sure this is the right product, will this unit take the place of installing the soft start unit on the AC itself. Also I have a 50amp Coach but want to be able to run just one AC unit of of a 15 amp service line. Am I able to use a 50 to 30 dog bone with this unit them bring it down to the 15 amp serivce line to run 1 AC on my rig. Thanks for the help.

Hey Bob,
Yes, that unit could take place of installing the start capacitor on your AC unit. They are the same thing and provide the same function. In terms of the dog bone, it is not recommended to use 2 plugged into each other. What you could use is part # CAM55025, this is going to allow you to use a normal household outlet to power low amperage items like your 15amp AC. You could benefit from just the start capacitor as well, but both items will reduce the pull of that AC unit during startup.
What AC unit are you running on your coach?

Hey Bob, Did you have a chance to try the Power Grip Maximizer for your setup? I'm curious to know if it worked well for running your AC on the 15 amp service line. Your feedback could really help others in a similar situation.
