Hello George,

Happy to get you set up with the correct wiring for your 2024 Subaru Crosstrek.

First you are going to want to start off with the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118467, this is going to get a 4 flat on the back to control the lights. I attached an image from the install where Ryan points out the plug in the Subaru.

Then you will need to build on top of the 4 flat wiring by install a kit we put together here in house. It is the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires # ETBC7. This wiring is going to be a little more work to install than the # 118467 as you will need to run a power line from your battery, install a couple of amps, and run a brake line to the rear of the vehicle. I do not have an install video on a 2024, but I did attach one on a 2015 Subaru so you can see all that in entails.

After you install both sets of wiring you will have a functioning 7 way on the back.

What kind of trailer will you be towing? Do you have already have a brake controller?

Hey George, did you have a chance to get the wiring installed on your Subaru Crosstrek? I'm curious to know how it worked out for towing your trailer. Your experience could really help others looking to set up their vehicles for towing.
