Do I Have to Replace the Entire Vent to Add a Hand Crank?

Question:

My bathroom vent does not have a crank up handle. It has a handle that you just push it open and lockit in grove. Wjould I have to replace the entire vent to change that?

Hey Jack. You would need to replace your entire bathroom vent if you wanted to add the crank up handle feature.

The Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent item # V2092SP-28 you were looking at has a hand-operated crank that rotates to open and close the dome. It fits a 14-1/4" wide x 14-1/4" long opening.
