Hi, Is it possible to upgrade leaf springs and gain some height? I have tandem 3, 4K axles. Thank you

Expert Reply:
Yes, but it's going to be an extremely small amount and you'll need to add springs that have more leafs than your current ones. You'll get maybe 1/4" to 3/8" per leaf of lift.
If you could get the weight off of one side of your trailer and measure the leaf springs from the center of the mounting hole on one side to the other, I can recommend a replacement for you. My current 3" axles that are rated at 4400 lb have 4 stack springs that are 1.5" tall at the axle mount. The springs measure 25 1/4". Thank you
