When you’re towing serious weight, you need a wheel that’s up for it. This 16" x 7" Sendel Series T17 aluminum wheel is rated for 3,750 lbs and meets DOT specifications, giving you confidence that every mile is backed by tested strength and quality. The 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern and 0 offset deliver stable, even load distribution for dependable performance on long hauls.
Corrosion is no match for an all-aluminum build. The rustproof matte-black finish keeps its clean look in wet or humid conditions, while the machined face and clear coat on both sides protect against scuffs and scratches. The end result is a wheel that stays looking new even after seasons of use.
Aluminum keeps things light without sacrificing toughness. This wheel’s construction reduces overall weight while maintaining high strength under heavy loads. Less unsprung mass helps deliver smoother handling and easier towing when the pavement gets rough.
Looks matter when you’re proud of your rig. The mesh design and matte-black contrast give this wheel a modern edge that stands out without being flashy. It’s eye-catching, durable, and built to bring a factory-fresh finish to any trailer refresh or rebuild project.
No guessing games when it’s time to mount up. The T17 wheel uses a standard 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern, accepts 1/2"-20 or 9/16"-18 wheel bolts, and features a 3.75" pilot diameter for straightforward alignment. That means installation goes smoothly so you can get rolling without delay.

1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Sendel 16 inch by 7 inch, and this is a Series T17 matte black aluminum trailer wheel with the 6-on-5.5 inch bolt pattern. Now, this is an aluminum wheel. It's very durable, lightweight, and rust-proof. And as we mentioned, this is the Sendel Series T17, which is a mesh style design wheel that has a matte black finish to it. Now, the front and even the back of the wheel is clear coated.
This is a high-quality wheel. It does meet the DOT Department of Transportation specifications and the SAE J1204 standards. Now if you notice, this wheel does not come with a center cap. If you want a center cap, we do sell those separate on a website. They're not included.
But I do wanna recommend that when you get the center cap, you do wanna make sure to get one that has the same diameter as the pilot hole here. A pilot hole in this wheel is where your center cap would insert through when you install it. And the diameter on this pilot hole is 3.75 inches. Now, I do wanna give you a couple measurements. We're gonna do the diameter and the diameter is always measured inside to inside.
So you can see if we take our tape measure and we go inside to inside, there's your 16 inch diameter. The width will be the same way, inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat. So if we put our rule on it, there's your seven inch width. And the bolt pattern on this wheel is a 6-on-5.5 inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that on a wheel that's an even number of lugs, like in this case six, it's pretty easy because if you notice, the lug holes are directly across from each other.
So all you have to do is pick any hole, let's say this one, and then measure from the center of this hole directly across to the center of the hole right across from it. So on this one, it'll measure 5-1/2 inches. So it's a six-lug 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern. This wheel will use the wheel lug size of either a 1/2 by 20 or 9/16 by 18. And the capacity on this wheel is 3,750 pounds. But that should do it for the review on this Sendel 16 inch by 7 Series T17 matte black aluminum trailer wheel with a 6-on-5.5 inch bolt pattern.
