How is 4 Lug Bolt Pattern of Trailer Wheel Measured

Question:
I have a 178 80 13 4 bolt tire and wheel. Need a spare. How do you measure the bolt pattern?

Hey Robert, what you will be able to use as a spare is the part # AM3S130 which is the same tire size as what you have and also has the only 4 bolt pattern a trailer wheel will have nowadays. But to answer your question you would measure from the center of one lug nut to the center of the lug nut opposite of it and it should measure 4 inches. See attached picture.
