Question:
I haul a Jeep YJ on my 18foot Suretrac trailer steel frame, wood deck. Its under 4000 lb but with a full tank and some gear in the Jeep which means locked-away gear and safe, when traveling! it can be over 4k lb. Also might need to tow a different Jeep in a pinch which could weight up to 6000lb. Would I use four 8foot sections, with a strap on each e-track, to be under load limits? Thanks!

Hey Matt, if you install the etrailer e-track part # e42VR to a metal backing plate or to the metal frame of your trailer and you put hardware in each bolt hole you would be fine with the weight of your Wrangler and the other one you mentioned. Then for a wheel ratchet strap setup you'd want the part # EM58523-09162-4 and you'd be set.

Hey Matt, did the e-track and ratchet strap setup work out for securing your Jeep on the trailer? I’d love to know how it performed, as it could help others in a similar situation.
