Will Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty is Calibrate Without Trailer Connected

Question:
I have installed my Tow pro Liberty. If I push the button the blue light comes on for a few but then goes out?. With no trailer connected how do I know it is calibrating? It has no lights any other time, is this because there is no trailer connected?

Correct, the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR will indeed still continue to calibrate without a trailer connected, but without the constant LED light. Per Redarc, if you just drive normally - even without a trailer connected - the calibration will still take place.
