Does Roadmaster Spare Wheel Carrier RM-195125 Pivot to Both Sides

Question:
I am thinking of putting this on a 2017 Travato. Based on some quick measurements, with a tire on, it sure looks like it will block the back door even when pivoted. Does it pivot in both directions or only to the driver side? If it pivots in both directions, it looks like it should work as is. If it only pivots in one direction, then, I hope the 12inch extender provides what is needed as recommended in some other responses/reviews.

Hey Lou, the Roadmaster spare carrier part # RM-195125 that you referenced can pivot to both the drivers and passenger side like you asked about so it would work great for you.
