Question:
Result: I want to install this Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness - Dash Knob - Proportional Part Number: RED52VR in a 2024 Honda Ridgeline. The truck came with a trailer brake controller wire with a connector to go into the panel with bare wires on the other end. Does your universal harness tie into my factory connector? Also, do you sell a blank Honda panel to mount the switch? Do I need anything else? Thanks!

Hey Robert, thanks for reaching out!
Do you know what brand brake controller the truck came with? We might have an adapter for it, but since it's not an OEM controller, I'd be surprised if the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Custom Harness # RED74CR actually works with the plug on your 2024 Honda Ridgeline, so you'll likely need to go with the Kit # RED52VR that comes with the universal splice-in connection instead.
When it comes to the panel for the brake controller knob, you'll need to use the Universal Mounting Panel # 331-TPSI-001 as there aren't any panels tailored specifically for a Ridgeline. I'm attaching a photo though that a customer sent in with this universal panel installed on their '23 Ridgeline for you to check out.
What kind of trailer are you planning on towing?

Jon, I don’t think the 2024 Honda Ridgeline came with a brake controller however, there is a cable included that plugs in to the fuse module or whatever that is called up in the dash. I don’t see a way to attach a photograph on this email to send it to you.. I was wondering if your reddark universal harness Would butt joint into the Honda harness, which would then plug it into the module in the dash?
