Question:
Hi.... I have a 2019 GMC Canyon 4x4 short bed CC, with the 2.8 Duramax diesel. I pull a r500 pound boat but have trouble with sway and general on-road control at speeds above about 40 MPH. I also do some off-roading and could use extra control when off-roading. Im thinking that a set of Timbrens might help if so, which ones would. be the best choice? Are there other modifications, such as shock upgrades, that I should be considering as well. Was thinking Bilstein 4600 as a possibility. Appreciate the help with this as I want to make the best choices first time around. Dave

Hi Dave; Timbrens work well for some applications but I don't think the # TABSOSR is going to be the best option for your application. These would be better if you're strictly off-roading frequently.
Instead, I recommend the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SS75FR. The SumoSprings will give you the added support you're looking for and help with body roll and sway while towing your boat trailer. They also aren't harsh like the Timbrens tend to be so you won't have a terrible everyday unloaded ride quality.
Regarding the Bilstein 4600 shocks, I don't have a lot of information on these since they aren't something we carry. I do know they're popular and highly regarded so they may be worth the investment. I would lean more on reviews and forums if you're looking for info on them. If you have any other questions feel free to reply below.
