Hi Namon; what kind of car are you flat towing? Yes, it is perfectly safe to tow a car using the Roadmaster Hitch Spare Tire Mount with 2" Receiver Opening # RM-195225. The only reason it wouldn't be is if you exceeded the 10,000 lb flat towing capacity of the spare tire mount.
