Can the 7-Way Connector on the Universal Installation Kit ETBC7 Be Mounted Pointing Down?

Question:
Can the 7 way connector be installed underneath the vehicle behind the hitch facing downward if there is room? Or should it only be installed parallel to the vehicle.

Hey Matt. The 7-Way connector on the Universal Installation Kit item # ETBC7 can be mounted pointed down. You can attach it to your hitch using the No-Drill Mount for Electrical Mounting Bracket item # 18136. It includes a hose clamp that wraps tightly around the hitch's crossbar so you don't have to drill.
