Availablity of Storage Cover that Can be Used with Yakima Long Haul Bike Rack

Question:
I need a bike cover for a Yakima Long haul bike rack. Can you recommend one. I am leaving tomorrow and discovered my bike cover has holes in the top. Haven’t found a replacement that has a place to get the arms of the rack through. Most covers are not made for hanging racks.

Hey Wayne, there aren't any bike rack storage covers available through us for use at rear of a passenger vehicle as we have found that they generally do more harm than good unless the rack is installed in a hitch at the rear of an RV where the air flow is blocked. The problem is that the covers end up whipping back and forth in the wind which damages the bike and eventually causes the cover to come apart similarly to what you described with your cover.
If this is an RV application though we have the Swagman Bike Cover part # S24FR which will work great.
