Can BrakeBuddy Towed Vehicle Battery Charge Line Kit Over Charge Vehicle Battery

Question:

I am having trouble with a dead battery on my tow vehicle due to the use of a braking system. I see you have several brands of chargers. My question is and excuse my ignorance but do these chargers on you site stop charging when the battery is fully charged like a normal trickle charger would. I am waiting to see what the dealer recommends but would like to know before I install anything that is will not damage the battery or cause overheating of the battery. Thanks

Hey Norbert, our flat tow vehicle charger kits like the BrakeBuddy part # BB54FR that you referenced don't have an off switch when the battery is charged but the charge is such a low amp charge that it's not going to overcharge the battery or harm it in any way.

Hey Norbert, did you get a chance to try out the BrakeBuddy charger kit, and how did it work for your battery issue? I'm curious to know if it helped, as it could give others confidence when dealing with similar situations.
