What is the Camber of Dexter 3,500 lb Trailer Axle

Updated 09/26/2025 | Published 04/28/2025

Question:

How much camber is in a Dexter 3500lb 95inch axle when new? My old ones have 1/4inch - 3/8inch at the center when the flatbed trailer is on the ground but unloaded, measured at the center. Are new ones more than that?

Hey Mark, the camber that the Dexter 3,500 lb axles like the part # 7359765 have will be right at zero when the trailer is on the ground with the weight of it on the axle. If on the lighter end you might see -1.

Hey Mark, did the information about the camber on the Dexter 3,500 lb axle help you decide if it was the right fit for your trailer? I'm curious to know if it worked out for you, as it could give others confidence when ordering replacements.
