What 5th Wheel Hitch Should I get for My 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty with 6 3/4' Bed?

I need to buy a 5th wheel hitch for a F250 super duty 6.7 for a 37 ft. . Which hitch would be best to pull my camper.

Hello Anthony,
Since your 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty has the standard size bed 6.7' you are going to want a sliding hitch to ensure that you have the clearance on those sharp turns, no one wants to ruin their vacation by taking out the cab of your truck.
If you wanted an automatic sliding hitch, then the Demco you were looking at would be a great option. Which one you will need will depend on if you have the OEM Prep Package (the 5 holes in the bed of the truck, also known as the Puck System) or not. Here are the options:
- WITHOUT OEM Prep Package: Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ford Super Duty - Single Jaw - Above Bed - 18,000 lbs # DM45SV
- WITH OEM Prep Package: Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider - Single Jaw - Ford Super Duty Prep Package - 18K # DM8550024
If you do not mind having to get out of the truck to pull a lever for those sharp turns, then my personal favorite 5th wheel hitch is the B&W. Here are the options:
- WITHOUT OEM Prep Package: B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider for Ford Super Duty - Dual Jaw - 18,000 lbs # BW65QR
- WITH OEM Prep Package: B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w Slider for Ford Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 20K # BWRVK3370
