Will The TST-507-R Signal Booster Help With Signal Loss On The Passenger Side Of My 2023 Ford F-450?
Updated 10/07/2025 | Published 04/25/2025 >
Question:
I have a 2023 Ford F450. Recently installed TST-507-INT-S1. Keeps losing signal to 2 tires on passenger side. Will this repeater solve the issue? Or might it be something else?

Good question Lisa!
A repeater (like the TST # TST-507-R) should be installed on heavy-duty trucks as they have longer chassis and thicker metal bodies that can block or weaken wireless signals. For a 2023 Ford F-450, you’re right at the size where a repeater becomes very helpful, especially if you plan to tow a trailer too.
If you want to check a couple things first though, here are the most common issues we have seen:
-Low sensor battery: If the sensor batteries are very low (unlikely if the sensors are new), they could lose connection. Two sensors at once though? Highly unlikely.
-Bad sensor: Rare with TST, but a faulty sensor could drop signal. Again, two sensors failing simultaneously suggests a signal problem instead.
-Monitor placement: If your TST monitor is mounted very low on the dash, blocked by metal, or tucked behind electronics, the range could be reduced. Raising it higher sometimes helps slightly.
If these are all good, definitely grab the booster/repeater. You will want to mount it somewhere central, but closer to the rear (like the back of the cab or under the bed near the rear axle if you have a bed).
Let me know if you need anything else! : )
