What is the Minimum and Recommended Distance for the Furrion Range Hood to Counter?

Question:
Good Evening What is the minimum and recommended, distance from the range, that the hood requires? Literally, how much room is required from the countertop, to the underside of the Range? Thank you.... BillyOffshore...

Hello Billy,
For the Furrion Range Hood # FHO23SACRVBL, you'll want to make sure it's installed at the right height above your range for both safety and performance. If your overhead cabinet is between 13" and 14 3/8" deep, the bottom of the hood should be at least 19 1/2" above the cooking surface. But if your cabinet is deeper, between 14 5/16" and 16 11/16" you’ll need a minimum of 24" of clearance from the cooktop to the underside of the hood.
I attached the portion of the instructions where it goes over these measurements.
