Balancing Beads for Casita Travel Trailer With ST205/75R15 Tires

Question:

I have a single axle casita travel trailer with a 3500ln torsion axle. Wheel is aluminum and size is ST205/75R15. Plan is to get the tandem axle kit of four so I can use the third pack for spare and keep one in case of a blowout. Do you recommend this kit size for my axle rating and wheel size?

Hey Vivian! The right Counteract Tire Balancing Beads are based on the tire size. With ST205/75R15 tires on your trailer the # CA83VR is the correct kit since you want the extra two bags for your spare and a backup.

Hey Vivian, how did the Counteract Tire Balancing Beads work out with your Casita trailer’s ST205/75R15 tires? Your update could make it easier for the next person setting up a similar tandem axle kit.

@RobinH I decided to get them balanced at the Discount tire shop as I had to get metal stems on them for the TPMS sensors. So, I never used the beads.
