Question:
Im looking to replace a gooseneck ball on a flatbed truck. It will need a 1 1/4 diameter shank. I have 5 1/2 of height between the mounting plate for the ball and flip over cover for the gooseneck ball. Im looking to get the maximum amount of rise on the ball and still be able to get the lid to close. Any product recommendations?

Hey Tim, the best option we have is the Curt gooseneck ball part # C40036 which has a 1-1/4 inch diameter shank like you need, has a 2 inch rise built into it, and also measures 4-11/16 inches tall from where it would mount.

Hey Tim, how did the Curt gooseneck ball with the 2-inch rise work out on your flatbed truck? Did it give you enough clearance for the flip-over cover to close properly? Your feedback could help others trying to get the right height setup.
