Will SoftStart work on Tow Airxcel 4800 RV AC Units

I am looking at AC softstart Part Number: SSR54FR. I have two Airxcel 4800 units will the soft start work on my units. Thank you . Mike

Hey Mike, yes a SoftStart would work great with your two AirXcel 4800 units and will basically end up cutting the amp draw on start up by about 50 percent. Since you have two units you'd want the part # SSR44FR which is for a dual zone setup like you have.
