Hello Victoria, thanks for reaching out. Here are the parts I recommend for flat towing your 2012 Cadillac SRX:
- Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BX1690
- etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox and Curt Base Plates - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 10.5K # e67ZR
- Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles - 7-Way to 6-Way Coiled Adapter Cord # RM-15267
- Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Flat Tow Brake System for RVs w/ Hydraulic Brakes - Proportional # SM99251
That will cover all of the major components. A farily straightforward vehicle to set up for flat towing. I do suggest you get a cover # e76FV and a hitch lock # e98881 to protect your tow bar.
You may also need a drop hitch to compensate for any height difference between the base plate arms and the hitch on your RV. Any difference of more than 3" will require a drop hitch adapter like part # BLU28XR.
