Question:
Im building a trailer to match with my truck. Im interested in the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - Standard Duty - 4 - 5 Bolt Flange - 5,200 lbs with the etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes - Self-Adjusting - 12 - Left/Right Hand - 5.2K to 7K. I am running a 40/13.5R17 on the truck with a Ford Dana 60 with a bolt pattern of 8 on 170. I didnt see any drum/hub combos in this configuration. Do you carry such a hub? Im attempting to keep all tires on both the trailer and truck matching so I have dont need to keep separate spare tires and use different rim.

Hey Stephen, the closest bolt pattern we have to an 8 on 170mm is an 8 on 6 1/2. The Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # ASR5200S01 is compatible with an 8 on 6 1/2 bolt pattern and will work great with the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 5.2K - 7K Axles # AKHD-865-7-2-EZ-K & the etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes # AKEBRK-7-SA.

Hey Stephen, how did the setup with the Timbren axle-less suspension and the Easy Grease hub and drum work out for your trailer build? It’d be great to hear if that combo helped you keep your truck and trailer wheels matched. Your update could make it easier for others working on a similar project.
