I’m purchasing a travel trailer gave will be 9550 should I get the 10,000 or the 12,000 pound weight distribution hitch?

Hey Thomas, I would go with the Equal-i-zer part # EQ37120ET which is for the 1,200 lb tongue weight max. You'd be most likely at a tongue weight of 1,000 lb or so which ideally falls near the middle of the range of the weight distribution system you are using so that's why I recommended the part # EQ37120ET.
