How to Initially Adjust the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Brakes

Question:
When initially setting Dexter never adjust brakes by stopping several times and applying brakes is it the vehicle brakes being applied or the brake controller only?

Hey Mike, thanks for stopping by! When initially adjusting your Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brakes # 23-468-469, you will want to have the truck and trailer on a smooth level surface, slowly accelerate to 20 MPH, then step on the truck brakes. You will need to do this a few times to fully adjust the brakes and you'll be all set.
